• Store models upright — Place locomotives or rolling stock upright in the foam channels. The vertical design helps reduce pressure on handrails, brake wheels, antennas, and other delicate details.
• Use the included trimmable foam blocks — Trim blocks as needed to fit odd-length or oversized engines and rolling stock, helping prevent movement during storage or transport.
• Inspect before closing — Before replacing the top foam and lid, make sure every model is sitting upright and fully inside its channel. Check that couplers, handrails, and other delicate parts are clear and not being compressed.
